# QuickSync

The RAILGUN contributors have built a mechanism called “QuickSync“ that runs on Graph Protocol. It speeds up the private balance block-syncing process by several orders of magnitude. 

QuickSync is automatically active during private balance scans and doesn’t require any configuration.
